The one place your data leaves this site is when you use the booking widget or follow a link to GetYourGuide, and that is covered below.
Who is responsible
Geirangerfjord Tours is an independent website about one tour. It is not operated by GetYourGuide or by the company that runs the tour. If you want to reach the people behind this site, write to [email protected].
What our pages do
These are static pages. They carry text, images and a booking widget. They do not run trackers of our own, do not fingerprint your browser and do not store anything on your device beyond one preference: if you switch the site to dark mode, that choice is kept in your browser so the site looks the same next time. It never leaves your device and we cannot read it.
Information the server sees
Like every website, ours is delivered by a hosting provider and a content delivery network. To send you a page they necessarily handle your IP address, the page you asked for, the time, and the browser you are using. That is how the internet works rather than a choice we made. These records are kept briefly by the providers for security and reliability, and we do not use them to identify individual readers.
GetYourGuide
We are a GetYourGuide affiliate. Availability and booking are handled entirely by GetYourGuide, either inside their widget or after you follow a link to their site. When that happens you are dealing with GetYourGuide directly, under their privacy policy, and they may set cookies to remember that you arrived from this site so that a booking is credited to us. We never see your name, your payment details or your booking.
What we do not do
We do not sell data, because we do not have any to sell. We do not run advertising networks, we do not share anything with data brokers, and we do not email you, because we never collect an address.
Your rights
If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another region with similar law, you have the right to ask what personal data an organisation holds about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its processing. In our case the honest answer is that we hold none. For anything connected to a booking, those rights are exercised with GetYourGuide, who hold that record.
Children
This site is written for adults planning a trip. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

If this site ever starts doing something this page does not describe, this page changes first. The date at the top tells you when it was last revised.
